Went out Friday in the windstorm. Caught 6 jigging the only flat water out of the wind as soon as you make the left after bridge headed to Indian. I fished on the right where the boat with the tarp on the back in the lift is located. I was in 90-100 fow and the biggest I caught was 27". I use a 3/4 oz bullet head jig( not painted ) and a white ice fluke.

Thanks for the report sue reel. This is my backup method (and warm-up method) for the coming week. Depends on what making bait is like. Looks like some weather early in the week with clearing, and almost warm (with wind) next weekend.

Mike,
Wind doesn't look too bad. 9-10 tops... 56 and 59 highs now predicted. I like the wunderground site because their graph displays hourly stats....

Yep - shaping up for a good one.... the "old-timers" won't know what to do without teens temps and ice all over the lake.... won't give a good enough excuse to quit fishing and start drinking early
