bait - all you wanted easy mix of mongos and juvenile gizzards in a few throws in back of creek
Water temp - 67
Weather - beautiful low 60's but WINDY
Technique - down lines , light lined planers and free lined planers
Started out scouting this morning about 7:30 with my 7 year old son and a friend of mine from gills creek up to B32 . Fished several stretches of water but Did not really mark much. Just a few singles here and there. The wind was a real pain . No stripers but my son did catch a nice 32" cat. He started complaining of a headache and not feeling good about 11:30 and I was tired of fighting the wind so we called it a day. When we got back to our dock he went and laid down while I tended the bait and fixed lunch for us which he did not eat. Turned out he had a fever of 102 so I packed everything up and took him home. The weekend was cut short but that's the way it goes. Hope to get back out next weekend.

Hope the little one feels better - my son can be like that - not acting quite right the later you find out he's got a fever. You'll get back on them soon enough!
