I assume you're talking about throwing a castnet under a dock light? If so, I'm not aware of any laws/rules regarding that. I suppose you can't hit someone's deck, but the water around it doesn't belong to the dockowner. Any light is actually free game. I think we should all respect someone's wishes not to cast under their light if asked. But even then they can't call the sheriff and/or the game warden on you for doing it.

The only rule is you have to tell us all when and where it be on No rules / restrictions that I'm aware of. You have to obey all boating laws if doing so from a boat - I.e you can't tie up to a channel marker and have to have your all-round white anchor light on, etc

Yeah I thinks its a website rule that you have to post GPS coordinates of the light. ;D
Sent from my SCH-R760 using proboards

underwaterfishlight.com/html/photo_gallery.htmlThanks! Speaking of lights, anyone on the lake using those green submerged lights? I spent some time in florida and many of the docks down ther use them to attract all kinds of fish and it doesnt annoy neighbors. Really amazing to see 15-20 lb snook cruising through a light, or for the entire light to suddenly go dark as a monster swims over it.

Yep. They work - halogen ones as well as the 4' LED ones.
