Hey guys,
I haven't been to SML since I was a little kid, and I was wondering what y'all use for bait and where do they mainly hit? Any advice is appreciated!

There are a wide range of baits, live and artificial, that a striper will eat. You can catch them from Niagra dam to THE dam, depending on the time of year. They move alot, and want to eat different things at different times.
Right now you can catch them from the bridge to the dam, and up to the cliffs on the blackwater side. The best bet for live bait will be alewives. Jigging flukes will be the best bet for artificials, unless you are a troller. In that case, umbrella rigs or spoons and bucktails on leadcore will be the best bet.
They are biting best in the water right now.
