Just wondering you guys take on landlocked striper fishing during a full moon. Would the bite be better at night? Early morning? Afternoon?
In my experience the bite has been better around noon - 2 pm. Never striper fished at night though.

Been told by a few folks it sucks at night. I think the moon pushes the bait deeper or something along those lines. I still say its pretty sweet to sit in the middle of the lake in a moon lit night regardless if i catch anything..Give it a shot!

If you are casting points I have had some great nights under a full moon. Dragging bait never done it. If weather is cool bait will come up on banks. Rainy nights of full moon are especially good for stripers. Watch your water surface temps. In mouths of creeks it may drop a few degrees and pull in the alewives. Thus the fish. Fish when you can, thats the best time to go. ;D

I know there's a lot more debris on SML, but on Anna you can gun it in the moonlight and be pretty sure that you aren't going to eat log!

But I was just wondering how the bite typically is the morning after......

I've experienced that on clear bright nights the striper bite tends to come alive from 11am-2pm. Same with deer and other game movement during full moons. Now if the night is cloudy the entire night, I think the action tends to be more 'normal', like dawn and dusk.
On another note:
I have been keeping chart of moon phase and my own experiences concerning fish/game movement, and it is quite interesting. Moon at its high noon and its midnight is usually good for some action, no matter the time or weather conditions. Combine those positions with dawn, dusk, or frontal passage and the activity tends to be highest and can be downright awesome with the right combo. Moon rise and moon set tend to kill the activity for a while, but right prior to rise and set, the activity will show a little bump up. Increase the activity for full and new moon +/- 3 days. All other moon phases could be considered "equal".

Sweet, thanks John. This has been my experience also. I'd love to take a peek at your journal one day. Hahahaha

I wish I still had my original journal. I had about 5 1/2 years worth of Philpott walleye data in there. No idea where it is now!
