New to fishing SML will be down the week of the 4/28/14. Was wondering if anyone could give a little info on a good place to start striper fishing. Only make it to this lake once a year. Would like to see my father have a good time and catch a few fish , but i have allways came up to the lake in late March. This is the latest ive been up. Will the fish still be in the same aera? Will the big shad still produce? or do i need to down size? plez someone help..

Below the state park. To the dam. Likely craddock to the dam.
I'd have a mix - ales and big gizzards.
