Ok, so here is my report. We fished 12 hours Tuesday and 6 hours Wednesday. Fished Linville, Beaver Dam, Indian Creek, S turns, Campers, Bettys, Walton Creek (VA Dare ?), Cradock ?, and Ceder Keys....trolled minnows, small bass (caught by hook) and Alabama rigs....that's a lot of lake...almost 2 tanks of gas....water was 47 to 52...muddy up lake and Crystal clear down lake...stayed at Hales Ford Harbor Inn...excellent place...results were 2 great days with my son, lots of sun to flush away winter, 3 osprey attacks on my baits, and zero stripers....not even 1 pull down...but still great days...

I'd trade that skunk for my last two days manning a trade show booth. Glad you guys enjoyed some good times and good weather.

I was sure things were going to bust loose this week with the warm weather. Doesn't sound like you had great bait, but you sure covered some water!

Nice report anyway, sometimes the fish just don't want to bite, but at least you were on the water, always nice to be on the water.

Yes....bait is the key, for sure. And after reading all these reports, you guys have that mastered. Catching and keeping them alive is a science in itself. You should have seen me yelling at that osprey as he stole my best baits. I kept them alive for 2 weeks only to see that creep swoop down and kill them in 30 seconds...
