How are you wiring them to power? Just another set of clips to a battery?

The newer SBT-II's (well, since 2010) come with a light - and a switch - and it's just tapped into the wiring for the pump.

Hmmm, trying to figure how I can wire lights and a switch into mine. Maybe could just splice into the pump wires, but not sure.

That's basically what was done. They have a "water resistant" wire nut with some anti-goop and it has the pump lead and a lead to the light and then you connect your supply lead. - one each for positive and ground.
Out if the positive it runs to a switch be integrated into the tank and then to the light.
You could just use an extra set of disconnects - though I run the light all the time the tank is on day or night as the LEDs draw so little power - so I'd not even bother with a switch.
